News 2017 (2014/15/16)
This time, as on the last litter, 3 out of 4 got PPM iris-iris.
Persistent pupillary membranes are strands of tissue in the eye. They are remnants of blood vessels which supplied nutrients to the developing lens of the eye before birth. Normally these strands are gone by 4 or 5 weeks of age. Sometimes the strands aren't gone befor the pup is 5-6 months. And, sometimes the strands will fade but remain. If so, used in breeding, the dog should be mated wit a dog that doesn't have PPM.
Monday 4'th we had the puppies tested. It was Tamara Ranzau Faigh from HUND helt på grensen who had the test.
This is her conlution after the test:
An equal litter where all the puppies shows social skills. Some are more cooperative, while some shows more independence. They all replies to touch in the "right way", no one shows fear or big sound sensitivity. The puppies shows to be good socialized and well balanced. Should be placed in active and dog habitual homes.
A litter we highly recommend.

The little boys are 7 weeks old allready.
Soon they are ready to leav to their forever homes.
The day the puppies leave, is a strange day I hate to see them go, but yet I love to think that they will live in their own family, be a comapnion and a furry friend. And as I call the LH: A lucky pill
Yesterday we were at the vet for chip, shot and health control.
Everything is fine.
Their weight for today is as follows:
AK - 2kg
RW - 1,87kg
NR - 1,82kg
Monday a friend of mine will come and have a puppy test.
Tuesday they will have their eyes examened.
They are a bunch of joy and fun, my 4 boys.
They love to explore, to taste and play. And when they get a bit tiered, they crawls up in the couch to cuddle.
I have to mention Maffe.
She's been such a great big sister for the boys.
She plays with them, teaches them, washes them and comforts them if Cruella barks at them when they don't behave.
I'm so proud of my girl
And Cruella has, like last time, been an excellent mother.
I have made my descision about who to keep. Mei Alucinor Alex Karev is my choice. Now we need to find the perfect active home for him.
Since I also love Webber, I have decided that he will stay with me until now. I want to see how he developes and probably look for a co-owner if I decide to keep him as well.
I still have one boy available for sale.
Today the four "Doctors" are 3 weeks already.
They have all opened their eyes and are now getting those small needles we call teeth in their mouths. Today they got their first deworming and tasted food for the first time. They are showing their personality more and more, and I just adore them all.
I think I will need help to choose who I'm going to keep ...
Little Derek left us today.
He had fluid in his lungs so in cooperation with the veterinary, some other breeders and the animal hospital, we decided to let him cross the Rainbow bridge.
We brought him home and buried him in my mothers garden.
Run free little boy, give my love to the ones we miss down here.
